Summary
Kuvox stores your routines locally on your device. We collect limited, anonymous usage and error telemetry via Microsoft Azure Application Insights to improve reliability and product quality. No accounts, no ads, and we do not sell personal data.
Data Storage
All your data is stored locally in your browser's storage (localStorage):
- Custom stretch definitions
- Routines you create
- Workout history
- App settings and preferences
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share or backup using the QR code feature.
Sharing & Backups
When you choose to share a routine or create a backup:
- The data you share is uploaded to our servers (hosted on Microsoft Azure)
- Shared routines are stored with a random code and can be accessed by anyone with that code
- Temporary shares are automatically deleted after 7 days
- Permanent backups remain until you delete them
- No personal information is attached to shared data
Analytics
We collect limited, anonymous telemetry via Microsoft Azure Application Insights to understand stability and usage patterns. This includes:
- Page views (which screens are visited)
- Feature usage (which buttons are clicked)
- Error reports (to fix bugs)
Telemetry is used only to improve product quality and reliability. We do not use analytics data for advertising or cross-site tracking.
What We Don't Collect
- Names, emails, or any personal identifiers
- Location data
- Device identifiers or fingerprints
- IP addresses (not logged)
- Health or medical information
- Payment information (we don't process payments)
Cookies
Kuvox does not use cookies for tracking. We may use browser localStorage for essential functionality only (storing your app data locally).
Third-Party Services
Kuvox may use the following third-party services:
- Microsoft Azure - Hosting and data storage for shared routines
- Azure Application Insights - Anonymous usage and error telemetry (optional)
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to request access to or delete. Your local data is fully under your control:
- Export your data anytime from Settings
- Clear your data by clearing browser storage
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
Children's Privacy
Kuvox does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require an account and does not collect personal data from any user.
